Air Louvers 1400A Storm-Proof Aluminum Louver Kit – for use in Exterior Doors

This storm-proof aluminum louver with water baffle features Z Blades at 1-5/8 intervals, is suitable for exterior applications where weather protection is required.

NOTE 1:
This door louver is “storm-proof.” It is NOT tested to any specific wind storm or rating. It is more weather-resistant. It’s design to not allow water infiltration and can take a beating from the weather elements. But, depending on the wind pressure and the angle of the rain, water can possinbly get inside.

Product Specifications of the Air Louvers 1400A Storm-Proof Louver Kit:

• Frame and Blades: .063 thick 6063-T5 Extruded Aluminum.
• Standard Finish: Mill Aluminum

• Construction:

• Louver:1-1/4 deep frame w/ Z-blades with water baffles at 1 5/8″ intervals are screwed to the frame. Louvers are mechanically attached to the sturdy aluminum frame.
• 1400A Frame:1 1/2″ trim with reinforced mitered corners. Louver frame is screwed into the door from both sides.
• Door Thickness:1-3/8 to 1-3/4
• Fasterners:#6-20 3/4″ Hex Head screws to match finish (standard).
• Free Flow Area:35% free area.
